On January 4 about 300 spectators gathered around the brand new 1-wall courts in the Frisian city Franeker, to watch a master class performed by 1-wall World Champion William Polanco. He played three games against talented Frisian players and left them in despair.The audience was deeply impressed by the skills of the Brooklynite champ. The master class was well covered by local TV, radio and newspapers and resulted in instant initiatives to extend the number of 1-wall courts. Dutch female players will probably visit New York during the summer holiday.
On his European trip William also visited the Eton Fives players in London, who successfully introduced the 1-wall game in a school program.

We try to get a copy of the news item on TV Fryslân. The KNKB did some video taping. I will try to get my hands on news paper articels and the video and will post them a.s.a.p.
